Posted - 14/06/2005 : 12:49:38 I want everyone to know that I appologies for my actions on Sunday after the match against Letchworth. However I stand firm against the reason for my actions.
We should not have to tolerate constant bullying by any team and I will stand up against them.
If any of our players every conduct themselves in the manner that Letchworth players do on the rink, they will not be welcome in our club.
It is not funny to hurt people !!

Posted - 14/06/2005 : 13:36:58 We decided to pull the team off the rink during the second half after Stef had been tripped and nearly knocked out, Roger had been tripped and had to retire from the game because of a back injury and Chaz had to come off after getting a stick accross the top of his leg. This along with all the other players being tripped and pushed while the Letchworth players laughed every time.
After the match they tried to come and shake our hands which I felt was very patronising and told them they were not welcome any where near us. At this point the air turned 'blue'(my fault) and we made it very clear that they could not push us around. They were not so big off the rink !!!
Anyway sorry for any offense I caused to anyone (except the Letchworth players) I feel very responsible for the players in our teams and club and will stand up to anyone misstreating them.
However I do not feel that a violent approch is the best way to deal with any situation. I again appologies.
