Posted - 06/10/2004 : 07:43:59 How do you think your club is run ? We have adopted a very different system to running our club than alot of others. Instead of having a commitee we run LBRHC more like a business with two owners who have picked their team of people to assist them in the running of the club. In my opinion this works fast and allows the club to move on instead of a long wait for the next commitee meeting and then a wait until the one after that to see what people thought. I think commitee's are dated and the NRHA and ECRHA should think about updating their systems to be able to move the sport forward. What does everyone else think ? This sport needs a kick up the butt to increase its profile

Posted - 08/10/2004 : 15:07:44 I think one of the reasons this system works for our club is the fact that most people (if not everybody) would agree you (Nath)are the best person for the job (along with clive, of course!!).
If you ever decided to hang up your boots, you run the risk that no one will want to step into your shoes. You and clive have achieved so much in 1 year, you have left very big shoes to fill.
I'm personally not in favour of comitees either - the club manager system is the more efficient system, though the person/people running the club will be taking on alot more responsibility.
