Posted - 01/12/2004 : 08:56:29 Well both teams have started their hockey year with bad results but I feel that we can turn this around with maximum effort from all players. The A team were missing players and with a full squad should be able to achieve mid table. (Turning up to training would be good) The B team need to score goals which will give them the results and again achieve mid table.
Come on BULLDOGS we can do it !!!!

Posted - 08/12/2004 : 16:52:24 No 'DIG' intended just fact. To set the record straight Craig and Clive are working hard on business matters, Stu is working xmas hours at tesco and trev has problems of his own. So I know where my team is and why but fact is we are not at training.
With regards to training itself well any training even non challanging is better than none.

Posted - 07/12/2004 : 08:25:00 Craig, you are quite right regardiong the lack of competitivness, but to me this seems to have come from a lack of enthusiasm (and people not coming - and thats not a dig at you, its just the truth).
To be honest, we should all be put to shame by the juniors - they have enthusiasm and they have a competitivness the seniors seem to be lacking at the moment.
Getting some friendly matches happening is a great idea, if we can get people to LB (if we still have it) or go visit some other venues (if the seniors are up for it - i would be. I want to improve and win. By the end of the season I do not want to be bottom of the league).

Posted - 03/12/2004 : 20:39:52 i response to nathans dig! ( above )
prehaps we should invite houghton regis to play a friendly game ( which i have suggested lots of times )every other month or somthing to try and bring back some appeal to training also give us something in between tournaments . i`m not being funny or nothing but i believe we need more competetive training yes against better teams,i personally have found training non competetive each week but allowed it to escelate in to weekly fueding through certian players not playing as team players fueling grudges unecessarly , ( which we don`t need )unless we can bring back competetive training i`m off! sorry to be blunt but thats me & i appoligise if i have offended people`s hard work in the club.
