Michael,
Cheers for the skates. I see you Wednesday to give you the money for them.
Yep, as they say it is easier on quads but I have to get used to rolling faster now. I built up a good head of steam on these then I thought " I got to stop myself now without a tumble" I stopped OK then fell over.

Jack nice skates too.

Wow so much has happened in a weekend.

Mel - You got quads, wicked. How did you find them compared to inlines?

Jack - Which ones did you get ??

Melly - You are more than welcome to come down to have a go at Roller hockey. I will bring a spare stick for you. On wed nites though the juniors are doing their "Mini league" but you can use the other side of the barriers to practice before getting into a game on Sat.
How old are you ? Nice to get ladies playing, Stef feels a little lonely

Quite frightening at first, the speed you pick up is a hell of a lot faster than inline skates. Also you stop all of a sudden so I have to brace myself for the fall.

Blimey the turning is abrupt, but no strain on the lower joints.
I still have to relax a lot more because my back still aches for a couple of days after.
Hopefully if nothing hurts by Tuesday morning I might join the adults for practice on Wednesday night if thats OK with them.
Anyway see you all Wednesday night.

Jack- Sound cool. Cant wait to see them.

Mel- The only thing with playing on wed with the seniors is that you must be regestered and for that it is probably best to wait until next season as there is only a few months left. I will see if they will do a few months cover and at wot price. Might be worth doing a few junior/beginner sessions first when they are not playing mini league.

Melly- So your a skater already then ! You are welcome to start whenever you are ready. Look forward to getting you and Aby up to speed, then with Stef as well we might get a laddies team going soon.

Hi Melly,

If you do decide you fancy having a go, let me know what size skate you need and I'll see what I can find. We've got spare pads and sticks.

As Nath said it'd be great to have some more girls playing!

Then we just need Abi and Nat back and we've got a team!!! Oh, and Karen's due to have her baby in July so she should be back ready for next season...

...No, just kidding, only if you want to...

Stef
