In your Rules section it says that a stick may not be put through the legs of an opposing player. According to the Inerpretation of Rules - see NRHA.CO.UK downloads - you can do this as long as your stick does not disadvantage the player you are tackling.Of course, in practice that is quite difficult. But in theory you are allowed to do it.
We have found your re-written rulebook for kids extremely useful and have used it to create 3 hour long theory training sessions which we have presented to all of our clubs new players. They seemed to grasp it very well thanks to the simplicity - if we'd given them the full rules to read I don't think many would have bothered!
One word of caution about the rule book - it was written with players in mind. If somedboy wants to becoem a referee it is next to useless. I started to read it before refereeing at one tournament and realised it wans't referee friendly.
Funny thing about the booklet is that I don't think anyone at Southsea and Farnham - the two clubs mentioned in the preface - have read it. Glad you found it useful though.
